Hi, I'm Alex! :) I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would carry around my dad’s “fancy camera,” capturing the quiet beauty of life on our cattle ranch in McPherson County, South Dakota. That love for capturing the world around me led to a degree in broadcast journalism and a career as a TV news journalist.

After pressing pause on my career to raise our two children, I found my way back behind the camera - once again telling stories and preserving meaningful moments. Becoming a mom has taught me just how quickly time passes. Each year seems to move a little faster than the one before, making those everyday moments feel even more precious.
